We saw the first generation of the GLE Coupe (C292) almost 5 years ago at the Detroit auto show. Based on the updated third-generation ML-a, that is, the first GLE, was created to come face to face with the progenitor of coupe SUVs, which was the BMW X6 from 2007.

We can say that the first GLE Coupe is quite well received, especially in Western markets and in the United States. Unfortunately, Mercedes was several years late with the launch, so the creation of a completely new generation in 5 years was associated with rapidly changing trends. However, it is already there!
The new Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe has a much more aggressive and lightweight silhouette compared to its predecessor. The front of the car is 1: 1 from the classic GLE, but the side line and, above all, the back of the car is a completely different fairy tale. However, the protruding narrow wheel arches give the impression that they got there by accident, although everything relative to the predecessor looks much better. The low-slung roof is a distinctive feature, which is probably not surprising. On the one hand, we get a sleek, multi-tasking coupe SUV, however, on the other hand, we lose a bit of practicality due to the Lower trunk. Well, beauty has its price.
